Bridesmaids

The bouquet in this painting was one held by the bridesmaids at my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. It aptly describes the beauty of the friendship and love supporting the bride. Yet their beauty is modest and humble in light of the bride herself, just as these flowers rest in a simple jar.
