Habits of a Landscape

This is a studio piece created from a Plein air study from the view at Vista House Crown Point. I’m mesmerized by the winding pathways alongside the Columbia River. I’ve changed the perspective to emphasize the lush lands along the stream with all shapes and patterns of various greens. I’ve heard it said that pathways are habits of a landscape. Created through repetition, geography is beautifully sculpted by forces through time. Contact me if you would like this work framed.
