Humble hydrangea

This original painting is entitled, “Humble Hydrangea.” Inspired by this pervasive bushy flower, it brought charm to the somewhat neglected yard of this typical Portland home. A very green scene, the bits of pink underpainting show throughout the painting referencing back to the variegated poms of bloom on the Hydrangea.
